Michelle E. Poulin

Michelle Poulin is a Senior Vice President with Kaufman Hall’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice. She brings more than 25 years of experience in strategy, transformation, and management consulting within the healthcare industry. Her areas of expertise include enterprise strategy; growth, service line, and functional strategy development; governance and operating model design; enterprise transformation; strategic implementation; operational and performance improvement; portfolio, program, and project management; and change management and communications.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Michelle served as Vice President of Provider Transformation Services for Optum Advisory Services, where she supported health systems with defining enterprise strategies and driving large-scale enterprise transformation. Previously, Michelle served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Enterprise Portfolio Management for a leading, regional healthcare system in South Florida and as a leader with Deloitte Consulting focused on strategy and transformation for industry leading healthcare and life sciences organizations. She started her career as Director of Operations for a large multi-specialty physician group practice in the Northeast.

Michelle holds an MBA in finance from New York University Stern School of Business and a BS in management and organizational psychology from Rutgers University.
