Michael D. Busch, FACHE

Mike serves as Senior Vice President, Member Networks & Operations for Vizient Inc. where he leads national peer c-suite networks for health system CFOs, COOs, Payer Strategy and the Atlantic CEO Network. Responsible for engagement of health system senior executives, he encourages Members to Connect, Share, Learn, Improve and Advance performance while addressing the most pressing clinical, market, operational and financial challenges.

Prior to joining Vizient, Mike served several large community and academic integrated health systems as a c-suite leader including as COO, chief strategy officer and CFO, leading enterprise transformation, strategy, M & A and team-based, lean-enabled clinical care models with an aim of improving health, access and overall community well-being.

He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and a former Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Mike holds a B.S. from Juniata College, a Masters of Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and serves on several community and professional boards.
