Mark Petersen

Mark Petersen has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In his current purchased services role, he specializes in clinical equipment maintenance performance solutions and imaging equipment procurement/service.

Prior to joining Vizient in 2006, Petersen served as the director of radiology at UT Southwestern (Dallas) for two university hospitals. He has more than 15 years of radiology/imaging management experience and remains a licensed radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). Petersen holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology from Iowa State University.
