Katie Korte
Katie Korte is vice president of Vizient Reserve, and assurance program designed to strengthen healthcare supply chain resiliency and help providers maintain continuity of care during disruptions. In her role, she works with healthcare organizations, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders to develop strategies that improve preparedness, mitigate supply risk, and ensure access to essential products during periods of elevated demand and uncertainty.
Prior to joining Vizient, Korte served as director of pharmacy at University Health in Kansas City, where she experienced firsthand the challenges healthcare organizations face during product shortages and crisis events. Her clinical and operational background provides a unique perspective on the intersection of patient care, supply chain resilience, and healthcare preparedness.
Korte earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Missouri. She completed both a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY2 critical care residency at University Health. Korte is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and board-certified critical care pharmacist (BCCCP).
