Jason Spring, FACHE, NACD.DC
Jason Spring serves as Vice President, Member Networks at Vizient, where he leads key networks including the Community-Based Independent Healthcare Systems CEO Network, Arkansas/Oklahoma CEO Network, Chief Strategy Officer Network, and the Vizient Governance Academy. In this role, he ensures senior executives of member hospitals and health systems fully engage with Vizient’s networking and collaboration offerings. Jason drives strategy and oversees activities, meetings, and resources designed to foster peer learning, innovation, and collaboration, helping members address critical clinical, quality, operational and governance challenges.
With over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, Jason has served as a hospital CEO for 17 years and as Chief Strategy Officer for a regional healthcare system for five years. He has contributed significantly to the healthcare industry through leadership roles in state hospital associations, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the American Hospital Association (AHA), where he served on the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2019. He is an ACHE Fellow currently representing Montana as the ACHE Regent.
Jason is deeply committed to community and governance, currently serving on the boards of Immanuel Living and as chair of the Flathead County Economic Development Authority, and having served on numerous boards across nonprofit, association, and business organizations throughout his career. He is also NACD Directorship Certified®, reflecting nationally recognized expertise in modern board governance and continuous director education.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He resides in Northwest Montana with his wife, Angie St. Onge.
