Dan Enger

Dan Enger is senior product manager of procedural analytics at Vizient where he focuses on technology, product development and optimizing supply utilization within healthcare. With extensive expertise in surgical services and OR nursing, Daniel is committed to improving operational efficiencies and reducing variation in healthcare systems.

Prior to joining Vizient, Enger served as an officer in the United States Air Force at both Andrews AFB and Wright-Patterson AFB, where he led surgical teams as an ENT/ophthalmology service line leader and played a pivotal role in supporting Operation Enduring Freedom during a deployment to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. His leadership and experience in military healthcare operations have provided him with a unique perspective on the complexities of healthcare management in high-stakes environments.

Enger holds an MBA in marketing from DePaul University, an MS in healthcare systems management (MS-HSM) from Rush University and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Mount Mercy University. His diverse educational background and hands-on experience in both military and civilian healthcare settings inform his strategic approach to healthcare innovation and service improvement.
