This year’s event unites two powerful gatherings—the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ Conference and the inaugural Vizient Transition to Nurse Leader Program—under the shared theme Phoenix Rising: Reimagine and Renew – Leading Through Change. Together, they provide an exceptional opportunity to connect with peers, share successful strategies, and gain fresh insights into the evolving landscape of nursing care.

Conference Tracks

Nurse Resident Track

Designed for newly licensed nurses who are developing their professional voice, showcasing evidence-based and quality improvement work, and building confidence through networking and shared learning who are current or who completed the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program within the last 12 months.

Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Track

Focused on advancing program operations, supporting effective seminar implementation, and expanding professional development for Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program Coordinators.

Nurse Leader Track

Created for emerging and current nurse leaders in the Vizient Transition to Nurse Leader Program who want to enhance leadership capacity, promote ethical decision making, and strengthen team and organizational outcomes.

By the end of the conference, participants will be able to:

1. Describe innovative approaches that support engagement, retention, development, and transitions in nursing practice.
2. Analyze evidence-based strategies presented by peers and national experts to improve nurse residency program structure and patient care outcomes.
3. Strengthen professional networks with peers from across the country to support ongoing growth, collaboration and professional development.
4. Describe approaches to renewal, resilience and values-based leadership inspired by keynote presentations.

Who should attend

Attendees must be a member of Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program or Vizient Transition to Nurse leader Program.

Registration

The fee is $500 for each Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program leader beyond the number allowed in your organization’s Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program contract.

Nurse residents who are current or who completed the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program within the last 12 months may attend for a $250 registration fee if they are not presenting.
