Steven Sohn

Steve Sohn is a Senior Vice President of Kaufman Hall’s Treasury & Capital Markets practice, which includes the Derivatives Advisory practice. With over 20 years of finance experience, his expertise includes derivatives and structured products for the not-for-profit healthcare sector, debt capital markets and financial analysis. Mr. Sohn advises healthcare clients nationwide on credit positioning, financial risk management, debt issuance, interest rate swaps, private/public financial transactions and capital structure performance.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Mr. Sohn was Director of Healthcare Public Finance and Capital Strategies with Wells Fargo Securities. In that role, he was the senior derivatives and marketing banker and a senior investment banker for public finance clients, focusing on not-for-profit healthcare systems and academic medical centers. Mr. Sohn’s previous positions include Director of Municipal Credit and Financial Products, Director of Global Fixed Income and Vice President of Public Finance at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc.

Mr. Sohn received an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a BS in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
