Scott Christensen

Scott Christensen is a Managing Director at Kaufman Hall and a member of the firm’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice. He advises health systems, payers, and specialty healthcare services companies on growth, strategic partnership options, service line planning, and enterprise strategy.

Scott is a frequent facilitator and speaker for board retreats on healthcare strategy and industry transformation. He has also authored articles on service line strategy, partnership, industry disruption, and achieving beneficial scale.

Prior to Kaufman Hall, Scott held leadership roles at DaVita, where he focused on enterprise-wide innovation and strategy, and a healthcare startup improving outcomes and lowering the cost of surgical procedures. Earlier in his career, Scott helped hospitals and health systems improve clinical operations, prepare for the transition to value-based care, and implement new technology solutions. Scott received his M.B.A., with honors, from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
