Omar Hosny

Omar Hosny is a Senior Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Financial Planning & Data Analytics practice. In his experience, he has provided advisory and economic modeling services for a range of health system and payor clients on complex partnerships, long-range strategic planning projects, payor-provider partnerships and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Omar was an independent consultant to a large Midwest academic medical center. He focused on providing financial advisory services consisting of cash-flow model build-out and stress testing of large-scale capital programs. Omar also spent more than seven years at Northwestern Medicine, most recently as a Financial Program Associate for the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute. In that role, he served as the dedicated finance professional leading business unit executive reviews, capital allocation plan development, new revenue capture opportunities and supporting business development efforts.​

Omar received a BS in biology, with a concentration in neuroscience, from the University of Kansas.
