Lalie Sedlack, MBA, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCS

Senior Vice President

Lalie Sedlack serves as a Senior Vice President within Kaufman Hall’s Revenue & Operations Improvement for Claro CDI/consulting, bringing over 25 years of healthcare experience with a specialized focus in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI). Her primary areas of expertise include inpatient adult, pediatric, and obstetric CDI.

In her current role, Lalie leads the Inpatient Pediatric and OB CDI team and provides strategic support to the Inpatient Adult CDI team. She has successfully guided numerous multi-hospital systems, driving significant improvements in case mix index (CMI) and advancing quality outcomes. Her collaborative approach and expertise have benefited prominent healthcare organizations such as Sutter Health, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and many others. She is highly regarded for her ability to deliver effective CDI education to diverse stakeholders, including nurses, coders, providers, physician advisors and hospital executives.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Lalie held a leadership position at Claro Healthcare as Manager of the Inpatient Pediatric CDI team where she played a key role in the development and expansion of CDI initiatives in pediatric settings.

Lalie holds an MBA in healthcare management from Columbia Southern University and a bachelor's in nursing from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) and a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
