Joyjit Saha Choudhury
Joyjit Saha Choudhury is a Managing Director with Kaufman Hall in the firm’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice. Joyjit has more than 25 years of consulting experience leading engagements in the areas of payer-provider strategy, value-based care and payment, medical and network management and Medicare/Medicaid managed care strategy/performance improvement. His responsibilities include developing value-based market strategies between payers and providers across different lines of business and serving as a trusted advisor.
Joyjit has co-authored more than 35 articles and blogs in professional journals and online forums, including The Wall Street Journal and the Health Affairs blog, on topics such as payer strategy, payer-provider collaboration, value-based care and payment, Medicare Advantage and strategic planning. His perspective has been quoted in publications like Modern Healthcare, Becker’s Healthcare, and Fierce Healthcare.
Joyjit started his consulting career with Booz & Company (previously Booz Allen Hamilton), where he was elected Partner. Subsequently, he held Partner roles at PwC Strategy& and IBM. Throughout his career, he has been focused on developing thoughtful, data-driven strategies for payers, providers and other health services organizations.
He earned a BTech degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and went on to earn his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
