Annie Heath, DNP, CNM, PCC, FACNM

Assistant Vice President

Annie brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her areas of expertise and professional skills include high reliability transformation of healthcare systems through quantitative and qualitative assessment, road mapping, leadership coaching, team building and quality and safety improvement initiatives. She excels at the analysis of SCORE Survey results, implementation of LENS visual management systems and TeamSTEPPS.

Prior to her current role, Annie worked in a variety of leadership roles, including Co-medical Director of a women’s health service line, director of clinical team development, founder and director of a non-profit that focused on maternal mortality in the Dominican Republic; and professor of nursing and midwifery at the University of Puerto Rico, University of Massachusetts and Yale School of Nursing. She's co-authored eight peer-reviewed articles and has presented at multiple national forums.

Annie has a doctorate in nursing practice and leadership as well as a master's in nursing and certificate in midwifery from Yale University School of Nursing. Her undergraduate degree in the science of nursing was from Thomas Jefferson University. She is a fellow of the American College of Nurse Midwives (FACNM) and member of the American Nursing Association. She's also a Leadership Coach, credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. She's received awards in Partners in Team Excellence and Innovative Leadership as well as Excellence in Teaching from the ACNM Foundation.
