Jason Sussman
Jason Sussman has provided planning and financial advisory services for healthcare providers and higher education institutions nationwide for more than 45 years. He is a leader in Kaufman Hall’s Financial Planning & Data Analytics practice, and author of Strategic Allocation and Management of Capital in Healthcare: A Guide to Decision Making.
Jason’s areas of expertise span strategic financial planning, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and management software. He provides a full range of management advisory services to healthcare providers as well as colleges and universities. He has authored numerous articles for various industry periodicals, including Healthcare Financial Management, University Business and eCampus News, and is a recipient of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Best Article Award. Jason also was a contributing author to the books Best Practice Financial Management: Six Key Concepts for Healthcare Leaders, Third Edition and The Financially Competitive Healthcare Organization.
Jason is a frequent presenter at national and regional industry events. He is a CPA, and received his MBA in finance and accounting, with a specialization in healthcare management, from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
