Rebecca Kojak, DNP, RN, NE-BC
Rebecca brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is an accomplished nurse executive with a broad range of experience in programmatic development, process optimization, automation and strategic planning, with expertise spanning multiple specialties. Rebecca leverages her knowledge of process improvement methods while establishing organizational relationships that facilitate sustainable change in current and future operations. Her key achievements include optimizing patient throughput, implementing evidence-based leading practices, improving unit and organizational culture and establishing new services within organizations.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Rebecca served as an Administrative Director at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Tennessee. During her tenure, she successfully implemented new models of care, restructured nursing leadership and improved patient experience as well as key quality and safety metrics. Before moving to Tennessee, Rebecca spent most of her nursing career in Minnesota, where she began as a bedside nurse before transitioning to nursing leadership and hospital operations.
Rebecca holds a doctorate in nursing practice from St. Catherine University. She earned her master’s degree in nursing leadership and health systems from the University of Colorado and her baccalaureate degree in nursing from Minnesota State University. She currently serves as the immediate past president of the District 9 Board of Directors for the Tennessee Nurses Association. Rebecca is a board-certified nurse executive who is additionally certified in multiple areas such as Lean Six Sigma, agile and data analytics.
