HIIN Community Knowledge Network

In recent years, opioid-related overdoses have been declared an epidemic in the United States, one that requires health care professionals to take an active role in solving the problem. A years ago, Vizient initiated a call to action on opioids to help members join together to address this issue of national importance. Through our efforts, we have been showcasing various subject matter and member experts, developing a resource compendium and bringing members together across Vizient to improve care through better opioid stewardship.

We are pleased to offer a three-part series from the Vizient Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) on Opioid Management. In this webinar we will hear compelling patient and family stories and examples of innovative collaborations across the care continuum to reduce opioid misuse. There is no charge to participate and this series is open to anyone interested in the topic.

This three-part webinar series is part of the Community Knowledge Network Education Series, which focuses on special topics that are current safety challenges facing the industry. Webinars in the series offer continuing education credit as outlined in the following designation statement. These webinars are available to all Partnership for Patients stakeholders, including all Vizient members, HIIN participants, Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other federal and state organizations, as well as patients and family members.
