Julian Carr joined Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company as partner and senior executive advisor in 2004. He served as chairman and chief executive officer of Valitás Health Services, a leading health care services provider, from 1997 to 2002. He served as non-executive chairman until 2004.

Previously, Carr served as executive vice president of ARAMARK Corp. and president of ARAMARK's Health and Education Services sector (parent of Valitás, formerly Spectrum Healthcare Services). He also was an executive with American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Carr has served on the board of directors for DentalCare Partners, Inc., Hu-Friedy Manufacturing Co., Living Centers of America, Inc., The MED Group, Medcor Holdings, Inc., Sanford-Brown, Inc., TIDI Products and Valitás Health Services, Inc.

He served as president of the foundation board of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. He is also a member of the University of Tulsa Board of Trustees and the Dean’s Council at the Kelley Graduate School of Business at Indiana University. He has also served as chairman of the advisory board for the Institute of Biosecurity at Saint Louis University and on the board of the Saint Louis Priory High School.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from the University of Tulsa and a master’s degree with honors from Indiana University.
